My 10 year old dgd tested positive on Monday and her mum got a positive on Tuesday. My dgd seems ok but my dd who is unvaccinated is really quite unwell. I’m so worried about her. Anyone have any words of reassurance?

Hi @Kaylasmum49. I'm sorry to hear your DD and DGD aren't well.
Many people had Covid before vaccinations even came into existence, and the vast majority were fine. How old is your DD, and is she generally otherwise well? Does she have access to an oximeter to keep an eye on her oxygen levels?

Most people under the age of 60 will be fine. Yes, they'll maybe get the symptoms, have to stay in bed, sleep a lot but the vast majority will be absolutely fine.

I'd concentrate on organising support for her, so she can sleep.
