Zoe app - isolate or not??

I log into the Zoe covid app normally daily. I've just had an email from them saying I should book a PCR test.
Do I have to follow the usual guidelines for isolating until I get the results? Excuse my ignorance but I'm not sure. I haven't booked anything yet.

I've generally gone by if you don't have the classic symptoms then I haven't isolated.

However, most of the time I've been sent for a pcr by them with a migraine for which I was pretty certain I knew the trigger (nor had had any contact), so would have been very surprised if it was. The last time I was sent with cold type symptoms and wasn't feeling well, so I chose to isolate because I felt there was a higher chance it was covid.

They want me to have a pcr every time I have diarrhoea. I’ve done it this time but I don’t have any other symptoms so I’m not isolating either.

I'm pretty sure it says in the app that you don't have to. I've never had a test when they've asked me for a sore throat (early on) headache etc.

wjen I've had an email it says you don't have to unless it's one of the main 3 symptoms. I have never isolated while waiting for a zoe test.

Fab, thanks v much everyone. I've ordered a postal PCR test and will carry on as normal as I don't have any main symptoms.
