Burping after covid?

Does anyone find they are burping loads after having covid? Quite loud and often ones, hoping it settles down!! (1 month post covid)

Are you seriously trying to link burping with covid?

I had quite bad acid reflux for months after covid. Whether it was directly related or not
I don’t know as just used over the counter medication

I’m just past Covid and my digestion has gone haywire. Acid indigestion and burping it’s definitely somehow linked I’m convinced. I said to my other half I’m full of air!

Interesting, I might look into some pre biotics to rebalance my bacteria, SUCH a weird side effect!

Definitely I’ve been drinking Yakult this week as I’ve never had this horrible feeling before and it makes sense that the gut has gone out of whack.

Yes, I didnt eat for a week with covid, then was burping terribly after and suffering heartburn. The doctor prescribed ozemparole which helped.

I started a post earlier. One month past covid and my stomach feels rotten. Windy and crampy. Just really out of sorts,
I’m also burping loads, which is hardly surprising given the amount of wind I feel like I have inside me!
Even under my ribs feel full of air.
Sick of it, just want to feel back to normal again.

Yes! I had covid end of March last year and had problems with burping for ages. It drove me mad! Had omeprazole from gp and tried various dietary changes. It faded over time having been awful at first (1 year) then went away completely after my vaccination. Hope you get better soon.

My dh has covid currently and this was his first symptom!
All weekend he kept burping which he never ever does. Saying he had a horrible taste and was worried he was getting a tummy bug.
Then Monday night really lethargic. Got a positive lateral that night followed by a positive pcr.
Hes still burping... 😑

I'm still suffering with acid reflux issues 18 months on! Bloody Covid. I never ever had them before.

Everything is caused by covid now, especially months after. Fact.

I definitely noticed I had a lot more wind - up and down! Than I normally have!

I think it was partly COVID and partly because of the COVID I couldn't have my usual daily actimel cos it tasted gross!

I'm gradually getting back to normal and back on the actimel but I still have more wind than usual

My DH is attributing his flatulence to the COVID vaccine

Hi all, I know this is an older post but I had covid in March 2022 and still not right in terms of my tummy. Symptoms have come and gone for a while but last week lost appetite again due to heartburn and doctor has prescribed omezaprole which is helping me eat again. Just wondering if anyone had similar symptoms post covid? I’m nearly 8 weeks post covid but tummy is just not right yet. Thanks

Yes! But it's strange sounding and fairly quiet. I never used to burp.
