New rules for coming back into England?

If you're not fully vaccinated, on arrival in England, you need to isolate for 10 Days.

But you also need to PCR test on day 2 and day 8.

Why is that if you're self isolating?

I'm so confused with everything!

To check people are not bringing back different covid variants.

To encourage people to have the non-mandatory vaccine?

To continue making money from private PCR tests?

If you're fully vaccinated you can't possibly take out or bring in any new variants.

Oh wait ... Hmm

To continue making money from private PCR tests?

This is basically it.

Same as fully vaccinated travellers, who still need a day 2 test but not a pre-departure test… Confused

Much better to ‘assume’ they’re negative when coming into the country, so they can then sell overpriced PCR packages that often aren’t even delivered. Or when they are, you post them back and don’t get the results until a month later.

This is not about public health, it’s about making money.
