Got Covid and need reassurance

Looking for reassurance and advice if poss. I am double jabbed and tested positive for Covid on Thursday, along with my three kids.

They have coped ok and seem to be through the worst which I'm grateful for. I am struggling though, on/off temp, wheezy cough and sleeping a lot.

Out of hours have given me an inhaler which helps with the tight chest feeling but I am a bit scared. They said to ring them if I get another temp or if my breathing gets worse.

Will I know if I need to get more help? When will I start to feel better?

The nurse said to look out for coughing up green stuff, but my cough chest just feels tight, dry and sore, not a productive cough at all.

Sorry, am not a brave woman...

I got it before the vaccines and have chronic asthma so group 6. After a week I had a burning feeling in my lungs which felt like little an electric blanket in my chest although my temperature was normal. It was worrying because if never experienced anything like it and wondered if I'd wake up the next day with breathing problems

The thing I did for reassurance was to buy the finger oxygen sensor and monitor it regularly. I did recover after the 10 days but suffered from long term fatigue, brain fog, heart palpitations I was well enough to return to work but struggled to perform to be honest.

6 months later I feel back to normal

I started to feel ill about 10 days ago and just now starting to get my energy back. Also double jabbed.

My symptoms were different though, cough, runny nose, achey, loss os taste and smell. A bit chesty and wheezy but no more than normal with a cold.

I would say rest as much as you need. I found hot drinks/ soup and plenty of fluids soothing.

Hope this helps a bit and i know it's scary but I feel really fortunate having had my jabs given how much it affected me.
