Should I go a PCR?

Contacted yesterday by test and trace to say DS 13 is a close contact. The boy he sits by has no symptoms, negative on lateral flow but positive PCR. I took DS for a PCR yesterday, no result yet.

None of us in the family have symptoms. Should I get a test today or wait a few days? I'm NHS.

You should tell your manager but unless your son comes back positive you don't need a test. I would do daily lateral flows. I'm also NHS

Yes I'll ring my manager on Monday, I'm not in until Tuesday. We're doing daily lateral flows as they're dropping like flies in school. Hopefully DS'S results will be back today.

Best to wait a few days I think. If you test too soon you'll be mine the wiser. Same with DS really.
