Do you always have to have a temputure to have covid. Story sons developed a rash and cough I did a pcr test because of the cough it didn't go very well as my son has a learning disability. But it came back negative I have kept him off school after the pcr because his rash is getting worse. I rang drs yesterday about the rash and cough told them about the pcr test and I was told by the lady it's unlikely to be covid because he has no temperature.
My son saw a nurse this morning and she said its a viral infection and it will clear up in time his skin still got a cough but other then that he's fine.

Not everyone has a temperature, some just have it slightly raised for a short time. A temperature is only one of the symptoms. It’s good that you got him tested and that it came back negative. Keep an eye on the rash and if you have any concerns ring 111 and keep him off school.

Neither of my DC had a temperature when they had Covid, or coughs either for that matter. They both started with headaches/sore throats and then aching bodies. DD also lost her sense of smell/taste.
