Both me and dh have had Covid but dd hasnt

Hi everyone I tested positive for Covid around four weeks ago. I live in the house with my dd and dh. They both tested negative even though dh had displayed symptoms. Dh has today tested positive . However dd is negative again. I’m so relieved that she hasn’t got it I just find it weird how when we are positive she has been negative. Has anyone else had a similar experience .

My DS had covid. Me DS and DD didn't get it.

I meant me DH and DD didn't get it, not DS

If your DH has just tested positive today then she may still be in the incubation period and may still test positive in the next week or so.

dd1 had covid, nobody else in the house did.

Dd2 then caught covid at school after not catching it from her sister, nobody in the house caught it from her either.

3 out of 4 in our house got it

Dd2 has it at the moment. The rest of us don't. We're testing every day but all negative, & DD1 has been more exposed - secondary school. Then again, we all had positive tests at Christmas except for Dd2 who we just assumed had it as the rest of us did. So maybe we have immunity. DH & I are also double jabbed.

Dh and I had it pretty badly pre vaccinations and the kids did not seem to get it. They had no symptoms anyway. We made no attempts to distance from them or anything.

I did LFTs on them that I had from work and all were negative but they never had PCRs (not advised at the time if asymptomatic) so I will never know if they were asymptomatic or just never caught it.

2/4 in our house. Me & DS1 but not DH or DS2… Both DH and I double jabbed. Both DSs had/have cases in class - DS1 in secondary school DS2 in primary.

Yep. Weve have a house full of it twice and ds2 - nothing, nada, zilch.
