postal tests time

One test put in priority postbox Friday and another on Saturday. Heard nothing yet. Is this normal for postal tests? Prior to this we had always used a drive through which were results next day.

Ordered Saturday and they arrived Sunday. We posted ours Sunday pm got results yesterday at 6 am brilliant service.

Posted Monday and results last night, that would seem a bit long to be waiting - especially the Friday one!

I ordered my test on Saturday afternoon, was delivered Sunday morning and I sent it Monday morning. I'm still waiting for my results back.

When ever I’ve done postal tests I got the results about 12 hours after the postal collection time. There are lots of colds and coughs around so I think they must be busy. My DH said the walk in test centre was really busy when he was there earlier this week.

Posted Tuesday evening after being alerted by test & trace on Monday (someone positive on a plane) . No results yet. 10 days is up tomorrow. Not that we have to isolate anyway

Have you registered the test? I missed this step and only realised when I phoned to chase the results

Our last one took 5 days which was frustrating for Ds isolating. Think we will use the drive through ones if possible in future. It varies though, I sent one in that was back the next day.

I'm getting fed up waiting too. Posted on Monday and still waiting for results. Definitely wouldn't do a postal one again.

Maybe more people are using postal ones due to petrol shortages.

And posted yesterday. 4pm collection. Now 24 hours since in post box.

Posted Monday got results today

I posted 2 tests in separate boxes for my DCs on Monday evening so will have been collected by postman on Tuesday.
Had one of the results back yesterday evening 8pm ish, still haven’t had the other one back 20 hours later. Scared it’s lost in post.

Does anyone know if they go to one central place in the UK or regional offices? I didn’t even glance at the address.

Regional labs, just like the walk/drive through ones.

Our last lot were addressed to Glasgow. Did it look at this lot. I did get a reminder to do the tests though, this evening, despite them being in the post yesterday. Not hopeful. Now nearly 31 hours since they were collected. Pissing hell.

2 out of 3 came back this morning. 39 hours after postal collection. Still waiting for the third..(nearly 44 hours now)

Ours were posted Tuesday evening (presumably went Wednesday morning). Not back yet.

It took 50 hours for the final one to come back.
