What do you reckon my chances are?

Ds1 had a fever Friday morning. Pcr came back Saturday morning...positive.
We duly booked a test. Ds2 and dh...positive.
Apparently I'm negative.

We are in a smallish house and I've been bed sharing with my eldest since he started school 3 weeks ago.

Any takers? Reckon I'll avoid it? Both me and dh are double vaccinated

Kids are 3 and 4 so there is zero distancing

Hard to say, you could have had a better response to the vaccine and/or you could have been previously infected and not known (or maybe you left that out)... That could mean you wouldn't get it when they did.

Even without vaccines or prior infection it isn't guaranteed everyone in a household would get it... Although since you say you aren't keeping your distance from them I'd say it's likely you would have without vaccine or prior immunity.

But ya I don't know if anyone can tell you what your chances are

I tested positive earlier this month, and my two DS and husband continued to test negative. DS both end up in our bed at night too so there was no social distancing

I don't understand how they didn't catch it, but they didn't, so you might be lucky too

I'm probably 99% sure I haven't had it before.

Fun and games hey. I'm very thankful no one here is very sick. Ds1 is a little wheezy at times but that's it

I've been called into work so today am teaching in a bubble of 90 school kids. How about that!

Tomorrow I'm in a bubble of 60, different school.

Madness

Youngest DD tested positive a couple of months ago. I (double jabbed) and eldest DD (then, single jabbed) did not get it and continued to test negative both PCR and lat flow
