Do they dispatch pcr tests on Sundays?

I've had to order a home pcr this morning but wondered if it would be dispatched today or tomorrow meaning I'm not likely to receive till Tuesday?

We ordered one last night and was surprised it arrived today on a Sunday. So I think you may well get it tomorrow they ate pretty quick.

@LublinToDublin Yeah, i ordered one last Saturday night and it arrived Sunday morning so I would imagine they’re dispatching them constantly!

It does take results longer to come back though - we ordered tests in on Wednesday, they arrived Thursday, only just had the results this morning, where test centre tests seem to be coming back in 24 hours.

Yeah @LublinToDublin it’s definitely worth noting what @mamaduckbone has said if you need results quickly! My test arrived Sunday, I posted it 1st thing Monday morning, tracked it and it reached the lab 6pm Monday and I didn’t get results until the Thursday morning! Had a test in a test centre this week at 9am and got the result at midnight

I do need results before Thursday but have very limited petrol and test centre is nearly 15 miles away so I'm not driving. Ho hum.
Thankfully it's not a matter of life and death. Just would be a big disappointment.

I ordered my test on Saturday afternoon and had my test delivered yesterday morning. Although I am NHS staff so I'm not sure if I got it quickly because of this. I had to wait until this morning though to post back in a priority postbox as they don't collect them from postboxes on Sunday.

Test arrived, done and posted.
Just got fingers crossed now🤞

I posted mine back at 11am on Saturday and got results at 4pm on Monday so there is hope you'll get yours before Thursday.

I posted mine back on a Wednesday (via a priority postbox which was collecting at 530)and got the results back 5pm on the Thursday! So just under 24hrs . Was really surprised

Just received my negative result.
So all good to go for tomorrow.
