Ah, the booster can make you feel crap? How did he feel after the first two jabs?

I had mine yesterday. I've had Pfizer for all doses. I feel ok, just achy arm and was drowsy last night and slept very soundly. Had a weird thing in the evening where I had some excessive sweating just under my arms (and normal temperature) and the sweat smelled like cats pee. I was convinced they'd put amphetamines in the vaccine 😂. Same thing happened after the first two and I felt quite elated with good energy levels the first 6 hours after all three times. I was like "There's speed in the vaccine!"

I'm sure there isn't though.

I feel rough after the first vaccine and dreadful after the second - I was ill for about 5 days and felt like I had flu. But this time I just feel like I've had the normal flu jab. Which I had last week and didn't really react much to either.

I know an elderly couple that was really ill last weekend after their's to the point of needing family to come in and care for them and call a doctor. It resolved itself in two days. I think they might have had AZ first time round though.

My Mum has also had hers (a third Pfizer) and has been up and about as normal but complaining of very sore arm, body aches, dizziness in the first night. But she's not badly affected in anyway. She was really ill after her flu jab this time with swollen lymph nodes, temperature, having to go back to bed etc. She's not nearly as bad after the booster.

Overall, I'd say it's nowhere near as bad as the 2nd dose was (I had to have time off work) and I feel I can go about my day as normal today. I learned from past experience and made no plans for this weekend, bought in ready meals for 3 days, stocked up on paracetamol and ibuprofen. Not really needed though, I feel I could go out today, shop, cook etc.
