Weird symptom

Hi all
I’ve had covid for a few days now. I have had a terrible headache and lethargy. One other symptom though which is alarming, one of my eyelids has dropped. It isn’t painful and the rest of that side of my face is fine. GP has seen photos and said if any further droop happens to go A&E in case it’s Bells Palsy. Otherwise just rest and hope it goes away. Anyone experienced this with covid?

Hi I can't help you with the covid part but my mum suffers with bells palsy and the first sign for her is the eyelid drooping or feels like it's flickering sometimes it goes away but sometimes the rest of the face starts to slowly droop too so personally I would get it checked anyway just incase.

If it's Bell's palsy I think you need to start taking steroids fairly quickly as treatment. I'd be pressing ASAP for a follow up on this.

I’d would go to get that checked out further - not meaning to worry you but my mums first sign of an aneurysm was a drooping eyelid. X
