DS tested pos on Saturday and DH on Sunday. Took care of DS when ill and have been sharing a bed with DH. Not been SD in house (tried but impossible with poorly little
one and space) PCR done tues is negative. Double jabbed.
Am hopeful that I may have escaped?
Anyone else been in similar circumstances? What happened?

DD is positive, we were cuddling on the sofa and she looked up to say something to me and both coughed and sneezed all over me Envy (not envy) it was an accident but I'm still negative and if I didn't get it from that I'm hoping I'm good, still several days of iso to go though so could develop symptoms at any time.

I escaped after being doubled vaccinated and my friend who was staying with me had it.

My husband didn't test pos until day 10 when I had it.

Probably too soon to say for definite. Most common incubation time is 5 days

My cousin worked a ten-hour shift with someone who tested positive the next day. They shared a pen, a computer, a small windowless office and she even accidentally drank out of his Costa coffee cup! She really thought she was for it but escaped.

I don't know, I think it's too early to say. Double vaccinated means nothing for me, as my son tested positive on Monday and me on Tuesday.

DH and DS2 tested negative on PCR yesterday. DS2 had Covid last year.

When DS2 had Covid last year, before we were vaccinated, nobody caught it, but that would have been Alpha..

Just ride it out keep your fingers crossed and your windows open!

Yep I shared a bed with DP in the 5 days leading up to his positive lateral flow (taken because he was sneezing all day and had a runny nose) and didn't get it. I took part in the government daily testing study so across the following 10 days I did 3 PCR tests, 7 lateral flows and an anti body test and all negative so pretty sure I wasn't just asymptomatic either! I had only had one jab at this point too.

We’ve had covid in the house for 16 days now and so far DH and I (50 and both double vaxxed with AZ in may) have not tested positive. DH thought he was in for it when had a temperature and feeling. But grotty for a day but no positive PCR. Ds had it a week before both my girls got it last Thursday- one week ago. We have to isolate till Saturday (the girls I mean from the outside world). Most people I know said they caught it from loved ones within 4 days though o have heard up to 10 days later. Keep taking precautions ie face mask in communal areas, fresh air, socially distance. My sin is back at school but falling asleep at 6 pm when home! Girls are nearly symptom free though youngest still got a cough. Here’s to another neg LFT today! Good luck op

DH and I both caught it but DD didn't. Small flat, three adults, SD not remotely possible. All double jabbed.

Thanks all. So no way of knowing basically.
As someone said - fingers crossed and windows open! :-)
