Pfizer side effect?

Just to be up front, I do have health anxiety.

After my first dose of pfizer I was totally fine.

Had my 2nd today and I feel horrible. A bit sweaty and achey. Chest feels like I've walked up a few flights of stairs and my heart keeps beating really fast and hard for 5-10 minutes and then goes back to normal for a while.

So, side effects? Or perhaps I'm just coming down with the cold that everyone else at my work place had last week?

Oh no! I'm getting my second tomorrow and have heard side effects are worse this time round!
I hope you don't feel unwell for too long

I was achey after mine, perhaps it's a bit of both anxiety and a side effect.
Totally fine now, try not to worry too much.

I felt rough and exhausted after my first pfizer but absolutely fine after my second one. I have health anxiety too so I understand Flowers

I felt sort of hungover and had muscle aches for about a week after my second dose. Didn’t stop me going to work or anything. Lots of people I know reported similar kinds of symptoms, although some just had a bit of a sore arm.

I work in a vaccination centre .
We advise patients if the experience heart palpitations after the vaccination to contact their doctors.
There is are rare but easily treatable side effect of cardiac myopathy, so it's worth getting checked out in case .

I had mine yesterday morning and now I can't sleep with a very painful arm, streaming eyes and a blocked nose! Chest isn't feeling right either

I felt awful after my 2nd vaccination. Felt a little better after 24 hours...

Felt a little tired but nothing else, my DP took paracetamol as they had aching joints but was fine the following day.
Try and get a good rest before the vax so as not the be run down and give your body the best chance of an easy ride.

The myocarditis is not always easily treatable, as ongoing studies are finding longer term issues.

We describe the evolution of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging findings in 16 patients, aged 12-17 years, with myopericarditis after the second dose of the Pfizer mRNA coronavirus disease 2019 vaccine. Although all patients showed rapid clinical improvement, many had persistent cardiac magnetic resonance imaging findings at 3- to 8-month follow-up.
