Has anyone been to an indoor gig since reopening

I'm listening to some music tonight and I realised it's been too long since I was at a gig last. Its been far too long. I never got around to going to a gig in 2019 and also 2018. I was just too busy. I never anticipated a pandemic with widespread closures to happen for 2020. The last gig I was at was 2017.

One of my favourite singers is playing in a few more weeks. It's a gig that as rescheduled from the Spring of 2020. There's still some tickets available.

I'm under 40. I am double jabbed with pfizer. My health is not 100%.

I'm thinking, would it be safe to go to an indoor gig? For people becoming infected with the virus after vaccinations are the symptoms serious or mild?

Just wondering if I should take the risk of a gig?

Yes - one of the first big indoor gigs at the O2. It was brilliant! Proof of vaccine /testing etc as described above at entry but after that a big beautiful free for all.

I’m due to go see my favourite band in November, double vaccinated but will be going on immunosuppressants before so am getting anxious. On a fan Facebook page some other fans were celebrating the scrapping of vaccine passports idea, a fair few haven’t been vaccinated. It’s made me very worried, this thread is a bit more reassuring.

No gig but have been to the theatre a couple of times. Lovely to see packed theatre and everyone enjoying themselves.

We've booked to see Foo Fighters at Old Trafford next June just before we go on holiday. Had a momentary wobble about going but decided that life's too short to worry.

Only a small one (about 300 people) and partially seated but it was great. Proof of vaccination at the door and I chose to wear a mask when moving about. About 6 weeks ago with no ill effect. I'm going to the same venue tonight and really looking forward to it.

I’ve been to two so far and have 3 more booked. I’m not vaccinated but did a test before them. It was amazing to hear live music again, people seemed relaxed but it was definitely strange at first.
