Hi
Just wondered if anyone has suffered mentally after having Covid?.
Mum had covid in Nov hospitalised and recovered fast forward to July this year she is manic talking about past memories are mixed up , thinking shes the queen, or her younger self. forgetting things hearing voices .. she's been in hospital since currently secitioned they are all mystified as to cause no sign of dementia, stroke or anything to cause this
all scans blood ect come back normal . It's not been a gradual thing either one day was fine and they days later a different person. Just reaching out to see if anyone has had a similar experience with loved ones xx

Very sorry your mum has been so poorly

It's well known that physical illness can have a big effect on mental health both in the short term and long term, and it's really well documented for covid, right from the start.
