If you live outside the UK, what happens in your country if one child in the family gets Covid?

Given the recent change in the law in the UK to say that siblings of a Covid-positive child should carry on attending school (in the absence of symptoms or a positive test) I am wondering what other countries are doing. If you live somewhere other than the UK, what would the rule be if one of your children tested positive for Covid but your other child(ren) had no symptoms. Would they be required to attend school? If so, would they be required to take a Covid test before doing so?
