Brilliant news for vulnerable Americans in close contact with 5 - 11 year olds.
I'm glad I'm not the parent of a child in that age group though. It must be a difficult decision to make.

Definitely a difficult decision, but it will probably be a while before anyone in the UK needs to make think about this.

Broadly good news, though, I think.

I hope it's a ray of light for those families with vulnerable children, at least.

Most of that is true for the 12-15 group and that’s steaming ahead with pressure starting to pile up. Won’t be long before all kids have to have it to do anything

In the time it would take for this to be recommended in the U.K. (and unlikely it would be), it would pretty much be rendered pointless for non-vulnerable kids as they will have repeatedly been exposed to COVID multiple times.

Good news for immunosuppressed children or as a back up plan if anything changes though.
