Any CV had their 3rd jab yet?

I'm still waiting for my 3rd jab - as I was on a medication listed when I had the first.

My GP has put my name down as there will be one clinic for the area - but no sign of it yet. I wonder if it will happen at all now people are being invited in for boosters.

I've emailed my GP today and they've said they're waiting on delivery

Has it been six months since your second jab?

I'm waiting for the top up, not the booster so don't think it has to be 6 months
Greenhand · 20/09/2021 12:12

Not 6 months but I was on the list for those who were immunocompromised at the time of the first jab. So this isn't a booster but a third leg to the initial vaccination.

Im CEV and getting mine this Friday

mastertoseland · 20/09/2021 12:50

Yes - had it last week. Got the text on Tuesday and booked the clinic for Wednesday. I'm in SE London (Lambeth).

Its 8 weeks for immunosuppressed with a booster possibly offered 6 months after too.

Mindymomo · 20/09/2021 15:56

I notice if eligible you can book on the NHS website, it does say that there needs to be a 6 month gap from last vaccine.

That's for the booster, not the 3rd one sadly!

I work on a respiratory ward. Some of my colleagues had their third jab today. Mine isn't due for a few weeks yet. I had my second at the very beginning of April.

PolytheneRam · 20/09/2021 16:15

Ahh, sorry. That's for the booster. I didn't know a third jab was a thing

RuthW · 20/09/2021 16:20

We have called ours today who are due. You won't get called unless 6 months are up.

It's not for the 6 month one... it's for the top up for immunocompromised
Sparklingbrook · 20/09/2021 16:55

Close relative had theirs on Saturday at the GP surgery.

fidgetmad · 21/09/2021 11:30

Think you only need to wait 6 months if huger not on high risk group . I'm immunocompromised, had my first in feb, 2nd in may and about to get my 3rd this Friday so less than 5 months.
