When should I get a pcr?

I’ve just been informed that I’m a close contact fo someone who’s tested positive. I was last with them on Friday. When should I book my pcr? If I book it for today, would I test positive so soon after a possible exposure or am I better waiting a few days?

They say 48 hours from last seeing the person who tested positive is the time frame to catch it, so you are over that, so any time from now would be good to get a a PCR test done.
