This is so bloody weird

My dd woke Saturday with cold like symptoms with a fever so I did a lateral flow. A strong positive so I booked a PCR. Waited 36 hours and results are back negative. In the meantime did 2 more lateral flows and all positive. Last night I developed symptoms and I too have a positive lateral flow. Neither ate or drank before test. What’s going on??

I think lateral flows pick up other viruses as well as they are made differently to PCRs, or so I've heard. I don't trust them anyway as we all tested neg on them but had positive PCRs.

DD may have tested too soon. Get her booked in for another PCR test and get yourself tested at the same time.
