Hi

My husband caught covid 5 weeks ago and was luckily able to isolate away from home

Yesterday he went to large event and I am worried about him bringing the virus back home

After extensive googling, I still can't find an answer - if he's had covid recently, can he still somehow carry the virus and pass it on?

I don't know why you would be worrying about this when he's already had a recent infection.

He's not going to get it so soon after an infection and if he doesn't have it he's not going to pass it to anyone else

So if he hasn't actively caught the virus, he absolutely cannot carry it or pass it on?

That's all I need to know. I am worried because I am CEV and have spent 12 months shielding so don't want to catch it

Do you mean carry it on his clothes or something?
You know it's an airborne virus, how could he carry it anywhere?

As a PP has said he's not going to get it again in such a short space of time.
