I was Vaxxed with AZ in March (cohort 6)
I had a terrible reaction and felt ill for weeks.
Triggered my asthma and affected my autoimmune condition.

I decided against a second dose of AZ and tried my upmost to get Pfizer / Moderna as a second dose.
I wrote to the CCG and even contacted our local counsellor for support.

I was still refused and am now only single vaccinated. Confused

I was speaking to a friend a few days ago who is social care staff, she told me that her trust have been informed about boosters and that she will likely get Pfizer following being double vaxxed with AZ in Jan & April.

So MRNA boosters will be given regardless of your first vaccine?

I still cannot get MRNA as my second shot.

I don’t even know where I stand with boosters…

Watching with interest. I'm in a similar situation.

@Hotpinkangel19

Are you only single vaxxed too?

I had a bad reaction to first dose AZ and was totally fine with second dose…

No idea what I’ll get as a booster.

They’re making it up as they go along OP.

There is no rhyme or reason. There is no science.

Hotpinkangel19 · 18/09/2021 22:18

Yes, single jabbed.

I had a bad reaction (months long) to Astrazeneca but the local vaccine team agreed I could have a Pfizer for my second. However, I chose to have another Astrazeneca for various reasons to do with my conditions (and unfortunately have had another bad reaction...). It is all being made up as you go along. I would probably have a Pfizer or wait for the CCG to change their minds. Have you got support from any consultants that might help sway it?
