Ok all was going ok with dd3 who is 9 with Covid. We had her outside trying to enjoy the sun but she had a massive coughing fit and she started panicking. I know this virus causes you to cough uncontrollably but how did you get your children through it? We managed to calm her down with Medicine and Xbox but she says she’s scared so can imagine it could happen again. What did you do in this case!? I’ve just got some Benylin which has diphenhydramine in case so it will help her sleep if we need to. I worry for her as she used to need to take ventolin when younger and had coughs etc but we’ve not needed to do that in the past 6 years or so. My husband has a slight wheeze and she’s a bit like that.
