Under if I was exposed?

Hello!

I went to see a friend on Monday morning, on Sunday night she did a lateral flow which was negative and then few days before she did a PCR which was negative. Today(Friday morning) she has done lateral flows and come up positive. Could she have had covid before I saw her and do I need to isolate?

If you're double jabbed you don't need to isolate.

Nope, you don’t need to isolate now unless you are positive or waiting for a test.

You saw her on Monday with clear LFT and subsequent clear PCR. You would only need to isolate if contact is 48 hours prior to positive test. As she tested positive today, unless you have had contact since Wednesday there’s no need to isolate.

I presume she didn’t have any symptoms? Unlikely she was infectious on Monday when you saw her.
