From your kids if you all tested positive for coronavirus?

No. Why would you?

Waxonwaxoff0 · 16/09/2021 16:41

I wouldn't isolate from my child under any circumstances. I had Covid last month, accepted straight away that he would probably get it too, which he did. We aren't vulnerable so it's more convenient for us both to have it at the same time!

No. Never. I'm a single mum to 3 kids. If I isolated from them who would look after them?

PumpkinKlNG · 16/09/2021 16:42

I’ve never isolated from mine. I’m a single parent How would that work 😕

WhiskeryWoman · 16/09/2021 17:56

I’m not a single parent and neither of us would dream of isolating from our DS. I genuinely don’t get why anyone would. If they’re ill they need cuddles, love and kindness not being treated like some contaminated, dangerous biohazard. If one or both of us is ill, we muddle through as best we can but do our best for DS, he takes priority. He’s only 4. But I wouldn’t feel any different if he was older. I remember being 17,18,19 and poorly and needing/ wanting my mum.

I would never isolate from my children unless I guess they were old enough (14/15+) and I was extremely vulnerable.

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 16/09/2021 18:03

Why would you isolate from each other if all positive?

Quartz2208 · 16/09/2021 18:03

DS 8 has Covid at the moment and I would not isolate from him. I am double jabbed and if I get it I get it. My priority is making sure he is ok and he has moments of feeling miserable with it and needs me

Lushmetender · 16/09/2021 18:10

It was something a dr friend of mine said at the beginning when we first saw cases. She had it bad and she said it seemed to be less severe with the less time spent in contact with patient 0.

There's two of us, so I would isolate as much as I could if I was the only one positive and everyone else was negative. I really don't want them to miss any more school than they have already.

Not sure why you would isolate if you were all positive???
