Hi,

I had a cold earlier in the week but no official covid tests. Negative daily lateral flows including yesterday. I developed a cough yesterday evening so had a PCR at 6pm.

I'm presuming it's unlikely to be covid, I have no other covid symptoms and it's a wet cough not a dry cough but wanted to be sure.

I am obviously isolating until my results are in. I've got an appointment today at 3. Am I likely to have my results in my then or shall I just cancel it now? I'm worried about cancelling at short notice.

Oh I should add I'm double vaccinated and have been for around 4 months.

I had a pcr at 7.30 last night and got my results 12 o clock this afternoon, but I think it depends on what area of the country you're in. I'm in liverpool if that's any use!
