Recent positive PCR. New symptoms

Please help.
I can't find this information anywhere.

DCs and I recently had Covid, isolated and recovered. We're still in the 90 day period where we can't take PCR or LFT. DCs have bad colds, bad enough for me to keep them off school.

What is the official guidance for isolating, returning to school etc? I'm double jabbed and very well but what would happen if I also had symptoms?

Thank you

You could try LFT just to see if DC get a very positive result or slight positive, but I suppose the best thing to do is either ring 119 to get official advice, or keep them home for 10 days. You could also ask the school, may must have official advice for this coming into winter when colds are at their highest. If you do get an answer, please post it as I’m sure it’s going to crop up a lot in the coming weeks.

This is all I can find

Don’t test within 90 days unless new symptoms

The 90 day policy:
If someone has tested positive with a PCR test, they should not be tested using PCR or LFT for 90 days, unless they develop new symptoms during this time, in which case they should be retested immediately using PCR.
This 90 day period is from the initial onset of symptoms or, if asymptomatic when tested, their positive test result. Individuals should use evidence of their positive PCR test to show they are currently exempt from asymtomatic testing.

You're supposed to re test for new symptoms, but personally I doubt it's covid again so soon so would probably only re test after loss of taste or smell as it's so distinctive for covid. Just to add I had to do a travel PCR 4 weeks after covid and it was negative.
