I fall into the category of adults ages 16-64 with underlying health conditions and I also happen to be pregnant.

I don’t believe so, unless you fit into a different category.

But it could change very easily!

You’ll get it if you’re in the 16 - 64 category. Most pregnant people probably won’t still be pregnant 6 months after they had the second dose, just based on timings.

Once you have reached 6 months from your second vaccine you will be offered a booster.
When was your second jab done?

robbie1999 · 14/09/2021 17:21

My second jab was in May. I should still be pregnant In November, which makes it 6 months from when I had the second jab. If all goes well, I'll be pregnant still in November !

They are giving booster vaccines to those classed as vulnerable. So cohorts 1-9 as for the last jabs. Then only difference is the timing. I was in cohort 6 and given my final jab in May. I was then put into group 4 but I'll still have to wait with group 6 as the 6 month timing takes me to November.

Yeah I'm aware that if I wasn't pregnant, I would definitely be called for the booster as I fall into that category. I just wonder if there's any research about doing the third shot on pregnant women etc...

Oh right, sorry @robbie1999, I misunderstood the question (and then deleted half my sentence somehow).

I don’t think there’s any research on third jabs for pregnant women. Most of the initial research for Pfizer came from the US; and they’re not doing third jabs. There’s now U.K. data too; but very few if any pregnant women will have had three…

I’m pregnant too and double vaccinated so far; but won’t have the booster. I did loads of research before I got my jabs - if I see anyone posting research about the third jab, I’ll come back and share it with you Flowers

Thank you dear ! And no worries at all. I'm sure I'll just get the booster. But would love more info.
