Tested positive for covid- how long before you can have the flu or covid booster vaccine?

is there a certain amount of time that you have to leave between a positive covid test and flu vaccine? Also booster covid vaccine?

I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Covid boosters aren't being offered yet so I wouldn't worry about that. Personally I would wait until my immune system had dealt with covid before having any sort of vaccine so I guess it depends if you're ill with it or not. I know they were saying you should have your covid vaccine even if you're ill with a cold but personally I just don't think it's a good idea to assault your immune system like that when it's busy dealing with another virus.

I came to ask the same thing op. Currently 7 days into covid and Wondering when I can get the vaccine. Google is useless it just keeps telling me when I can get a 2nd dose.

I don't know about flu.

I need an answer to this too. I tested positive for covid at the weekend and flu jab was booked for next Monday. I have to re-schedule but don’t know how long to give it.

I left over 4 weeks between recovering from Covid and booking my flu jab. So about 6 weeks apart dated from my positive PCR. (However that flu jab day has just been cancelled so who knows when mine will be in reality)

I just rang the pharmacy to re-schedule my flu jab. The pharmacist advised leaving it a month from recovering from covid.
