Anyone had one? Or know anyone who's had one? There's nothing on our GP website, and I don't like phoning as I know how hard it is to get through and how busy they are.

OhYouBad I think I read somewhere 8 weeks for that gap between 3rd and booster. I'd like to get them both in before chemo.

GP has now responded and says working their way through list of patients and drugs to check them depends on vaccine availability

NOT a booster and it was given IN PLACE of the booster

Actually I think this is incorrect. The guidelines are very carefully worded that in this group of immunocompromised patients the 3rd dose is part of part of their primary schedule of COVID-19 vaccination
That would mean they were still eligable for a booster later.

I am immunocompromised but not enough for the booster. It would come too late as I just had covid (quite badly).

My understanding is that in England there is an offer for sub-set of immunosuppressed adults where this is clinically recommended for a third vaccine primary dose as part of the (usually two dose) primary course. Am not sure if the following is the current communication:

www.england.nhs.uk/coronavirus/wp-content/uploads/sites/52/2021/09/C1399-Updated-JCVI-guidance-for-vaccinating-immunosuppressed-individuals-with-third-primary-dose.pdf

This is separate to the 'booster' third dose announced in England today? being offered to:

Those living in residential care homes for older adults
All adults aged 50 years or over
Frontline health and social care workers
All those aged 16 to 49 years with underlying health conditions that put them at higher risk of severe COVID-19
Adult household contacts of immunosuppressed individuals

For the completists, I've not seen any guidance to say over-50 immunocompromised who have been given a third 'primary' dose should later be offered an over-50s booster (4th??) dose.

Zilla1 the booster after third dose info is in the document I linked to. I can't add screenshots on this device.

same document you linked to. Paragraph above 'Implementation' section.
