Is it counted as sick leave?

I go back to work on Tuesday after testing positive for Covid19. I'm a TA and have done 1 online course and watched a couple of training videos in bed whilst off but nothing else as have been 'fluey', .
Obviously I had to self isolate but I can't find out online if this will be counted as sick leave, in our trust you get a 'warning letter' if you have 2 separate sick incidents within a year if it's more than a couple of days.
I would like to find out the answer before I go back in if anyone can help.

It's up to the employer, but I would have thought that most public sector employers at least would be sensible and not count it. I know it doesn't count in my public sector organisation, or DHs private sector.

Any public sector employer will have a (lengthy…) policy on covid and HR, probably available on their intranet.

I would be surprised if it counts.

sadly having worked for the public sector (a number of different NHS trusts and 1 charity) they can be pretty crappy about sick leave and terrible for encouraging presenteeism when staff are ill...however you are best checking with your own organisation ,they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they do include it and you'd be right to complain to your union if they do.... a warning letter after 2 separate sickness incidents is ludicrous!!!
