Isolation rules..

DH currently has Covid.... I'm confused I'm double vaccinated and have a 2 yo son.

According the 'new rules' I don't have to isolate? However I've just had a message from nhs track and trace to say that I have to stay home and isolate until the 17th?

So fed up of this shit.... everything still as clear as mud

It means that when your husband named you as a contact they were not able to validate your vax status. T&T will contact you directly if you take the call with them let them enter your details and you will be advised if you are exempt from isolation.

Thanks you, I've been reading a lot about the rules and come to the conclusion I was ok.

The email also told me to book a pcr, so I've booked one for me and my son regardless.

DH has been isolating for nearly a week but we would have been around him prior to symptoms appearing and from what I've read it states there is an incubation period.

Have you checked your vax status on the app, it could be there is an error and one of them hasn't recorded properly.

It says get your NHS covid pass, then next screen travel or domestic, if it is there all is good if not go into your health at the bottom of Home Screen and then your covid 19 vaccine record and both vaccinations should be there, probably best to check that it all looks ok on both bits

I don't think the T&T guys necessarily have access to this. I suppose they might ask for a screen shot but I think they basically go by what you tell them You're not doing anything wrong anyway just carry on going about your business and if they call just tell them you are double vaxxed

Thanks for your help, I've stayed indoors/ garden for a week so I'll just carry on as normal....The rules keep changing and I'm terrified I'm doing something wrong....
