PCR results at weekend?

Had a test 24 hours ago and no results yet.

Does it take longer at the weekend?

I had a test at 9am yesterday and results came through at 1am this morning. My partner tested at the same time as me but his results were back at 10pm last night. Hope you get yours soon. I've got to have another pcr today as mine came back negative even though I've done three positive lateral flow tests.

I did a test on a Saturday afternoon and got the results on Sunday lunchtime.

DS came through within 24 hours

Test Friday am and results received yesterday morning. Less than 24 hours

Test Saturday 9:30am, email result 4:30am, text result 7:30am. In my experience the emails always come a few hours before the texts.

Still no results here. It has been 31 hours now. Worried they’ve lost my test…

Tested at 6pm yesterday....still nothing

I’m really hoping my results come through tonight. I’ve had to take yesterday/today off work. Due back tomorrow. Even my manager has commented that it is unusual for them to arrive this late so I think she thinks I’m dragging it out when I’m not

SW London - 1pm yesterday; got result 25.5 hours later at 3pm

I'm in the North West too, went to a walk in to get my test done (see my post above for timings)

Done my pcr at 1pm on Saturday and still no result back. I am in Scotland.

How do positive PCR results come through please?

Is it by text and email?
