FFP2 / FFP3 mask recommendations please!

My work environment doesn't feel safe to me. Colleagues and clients aren't wearing masks indoors, and I have lots of very large meetings / gatherings I have to attend and speak at. People have been happily coughing and sneezing away Angry I have a vulnerable household, and want to do what I can to keep us safe, whilst keeping my job. I read about the Addenbrooks hospital research about FFP2 / FFP3 dramatically reducing risks. Can any HCP recommend me FFP2 / FFP3 masks? I don't know where to start. Do they really have to be fitted, or can I buy some at random from a medicare supply company?

They really have to be fitted. However, I suspect you’d be able to find someone to do this - lots were trained.

For my team, the masks that have fitted most (not all) and been most comfortable are:

Reusable - Elipse P3 half mask
Disposable - aura Ffp3

That is no guarantee they will work for you. They need to be fitted.

Also you need to be shown how to check the seal, and how to remove safely.

Thanks *Motorina" that's really helpful info. I'm not in heathcare so I don't think there is any way I can get one fitted as a member of the public? I guess I'll buy a few kinds to try out, and I can look for youtube videos re checking the seal - hopefully better then nothing.

Plenty of people in industry use them (fitted!) so I suspect you’d find someone to fit test you through that route.

These guys will do it for £75. Just the first one that appeared on google rather than a specific recommendation.
