Hi,

Anyone had any experience of a missing covid vaccine record?

My colleague wants to travel away and her 1st one is missing.

GP is no help either

Thanks

Yes me too. No idea what to do

sleepyhoglet · 12/09/2021 19:34

I think I am going to have to drive to my vaccine centre and see if they can fix in person

OneMillionSteps · 12/09/2021 19:40

My first vaccination didn’t get recorded properly either - I eventually got it added to the “Pinnacle” system at the vaccination centre where I’d had it done. Luckily I still had the card with the date and batch number on. Once they had done that, the GP could see it in their system and I could see it on the NHS app.

WithCatLikeTread · 12/09/2021 19:42

Yes you’re best off if possible going back to where you had it done, ideally with the card if you still have it.

They can click the button that’s been missed and it all flows from there.

(Clinic volunteer - we've had a few like this, and as clinics mostly quiet now, the admin people are happy to have something to do!)

Yes I had this with my first. Had to go back to where I had it done (I called instead of visiting as it was far away) and they updated the system. After calling a lot of people (GP etc) this was the only option to get it updated apparently.

It's the gp practice's job to sort it as long as she had it in the same country she's living in. It's part of my job. Mistakes happen but they can easily be sorted

SparkleMonster · 12/09/2021 19:53

Same happened to my husband's first jab, no record of it. He'd also unfortunately lost his card. After many frustrating phone calls to 119, GP and the vaccination centre, he was eventually quietly advised to drop in to the vaccination centre in person. One of the doctors there took over, sorted it all out for him and gave him the second jab all in the space of a few minutes.

Thanks for the replies.

She's been to the gp and they couldn't do anything.

I think she's trying to get in touch with where she had it done

Thanks folks

The head partner has reported to the CCG and hoping to get it sorted that way

FleasInMyKnees · 13/09/2021 20:36

Was she sent a letter to attend with her appointment on it, it should have been entered into a computer system at the test system.
