Vaccine side effects v breakthrough infections

I had a pretty strong reaction to the AZ vaccine, chills, headache, body pain and felt horrific for a couple of days each time. However, in a house full of Covid I’m the only one to (so far) not contract it!

If you had side effects to the vaccine, did you go on to contract Covid afterwards? Or do you think the stronger the reaction, the stronger the antibodies?

I got Pfizer and both times I didn't get any side effects. When rest of the family caught covid I tested negative.
