What to do…. So confused

So I tested positive from a PCR 12 days ago and started isolating, did a second PCR a couple days later with the rest of the family and that came back negative but partner positive. We all have been isolating for 12 days now. Just did a lateral flow before going back to work and now saying positive. Booked another PCR.

So confused and don’t know what to do. I’m doubled jabbed so don’t need to isolate if negative but have been to be on the safe side.

I have no symptoms.
Anyone else had similar.

It's ten days. You're clear to go about your life now

Angrymum22 · 09/09/2021 19:59

You can test positive with a PCR up to 90 days after initial positive. You have to isolate for 10days from first PCR and should not take another PCR for 90 days unless you develop symptoms again during that period.

Stop testing. Go back to your life.

Don’t take PCRs within 90 days of the infection. They could show positive even though you’re not longer infectious.

You’ve done your 10 days, you’re free to go. Stop testing unless you get new symptoms

Thank all so much! I can’t tell you how thankful I am to hear this.

I had no idea about the 90 days! Will cancel PCR tomorrow and move on, god knows I need to leave this bloody house!
