Hey! I just wondered how long it took for your test results with Royal Mail? I posted at 11am on Tuesday.... and it's now been 55 hours and no result....
my daughter is disabled and desperate to get back to school and with her needs I can't explain what is going on.... and she had only just gone back.
I'm Leicestershire....
what kind of time frame did it take to get your results? I'm thinking have my tests been lost? As have only heard of results being a quick 24 hour turn around!?

Hi my dd s in a special school in Leicestershire and am also waiting for a postal test result. Why isn't your dd in school? The rules are now they must go to school unless they test positive (this from her headteacher yesterday) when I questioned sending her in. Apparently they will be marked as unauthorised absence if they don't go even with symptoms 🤔!!

I've just got dds result back in just 25 hours (-) thankfully, I would chase yours up if I were you.

I posted mine at 5pm yesterday and the text has just arrived

That's not right, everyone regardless of age or vaccine status must still isolate with symptoms.

Hiya! Oh really! She got sent home on Monday because she was coughing…. She’s absolutely fine and there’s no reason for her to be off… that’s why I’m so desperate for her to be back at school…. She’s missed it so much and as soon as she’s gone back she’s been sent home again 🤷‍♀️
I did try ringing today but they said they can’t help me till it’s been 72 hours … so tomorrow…. Just seems a long time! Xxx

I did question sending her in on the phone with the head who said that they've been instructed to mark as absent by the dept of education without a positive PCR, it's also the case for my friends kids in mainstream in the area it's craziness.

That so bizarre! Must be different schools then.... this wa the complete opposite scenario tbh. I just wish I could get the results 😂

South Staffs, my son’s test just came back negative (so relieved) and it took 23hrs and 57mins.
