Boosters and/or 3rd vaccines

Both AZ and Pfizer are approved for booster jabs, pending JCVI decision. I had AZ before it was decided under 40s would not be offered that one. I do wonder if there’s any known risk to a 3rd AZ vaccine? I am immunocompromised so would be eligible for a 3rd vaccine.

However, AstraZeneca boosters will only be given to those who previously had the AstraZeneca jab.

Seems they think the VITT risk is first dose related (born out by the stats) so it’s safe to give AZ to those who’ve already received it but nobody else.

I wonder if travel restrictions and venue entrance requirements will be dependent on if you’re double vaxxed or boosted vaxxed?

Thewiseoneincognito - If you need a covid pass for travel or large events, I think in time it'll be a case that you've had one in say the last year/different timescale, rather than looking at if you've been double/triple/quadruple jabbed.

Moderna was not approved for use as a booster today, only Pfizer and AZ. I’m sure it will be in due course.

The news today was that AZ and Pfizer have both been approved for boosters. I doubt there will be much choice - which I do understand. Im curious if there are any risks to under 40s to have a third AZ vaccine.
