If you’ve been tracked at tested what days have you been tested?

I have had to test days 1, 5 & 10 others only on the day they were contact traced which was 48 hours after they say the positive person so wouldn’t have symptoms yet anyway.
When have others had to test.

Yes sorry I meant test and trace. It was just a question about when the people traced were being tested. Just as I was curious as being tested 48 hours after seeing someone who just tested positive seems pointless as no one incubates it so quickly.

I got a test and trace email a few days after my flight. I didn't bother taking an NHS pcr as I took a travel one the day before the alert. No one called me.

Actually with Delta variant incubation is pretty rapid. I started with symptoms 48 hrs after positive contact. I had positive LFT on day 4 and positive PCR on day 4. I didn’t do PCR earlier because I’m double vaccinated and have already Covid so didn’t expect to catch it. My contact was double vaccinated so also assumed she just had a cold so she didn’t test until the day after we had seen each other.
