Hello everyone,
My 2 children tested positive on a lft on the 24th of august so we began our 10 days of isolation. Ex also tested positive on a pcr the same day and gave test and trace our details. By the end of the first day both kids were complaining of a headache and no taste. Stupidly I didn't register the tests as my ex said he had already passed on the info to test and trace so was no need. After missing out on 6 shifts at work over the isolation period I wanted to apply for the isolation grant but to do this needed a pcr test.. I was advised by 119 to take the pcr on the final day of isolation so we wouldn't have to isolate again. Results came back on Tuesday with 1 negative and 1 positive, I have been contacted today to say we now need to isolate again after a positive test 😫 I just don't understand the need to isolate again when the 10 days after symptoms has already been done so surely no longer able to pass on the virus 🤷🏼♀️
Am I wrong?
