My DS (18) is scheduled to have elective surgery next week. He was supposed to have his second vaccine this week but the instructions from the hospital say that no surgery will be done within 7 days of vaccination so we've cancelled his apointment.
I've just realised that there is no info on when he can have it post op and I can't find anything definitive online.(In fact there doesn't seem to be much evidence in favour of the pre op instructions either but we'll do as we've been asked.) My calls to the hospital haven't been answered. Obviously we'll ask when he is there, but I just wondered if anyone else has been in this position, and if so, what were you told? Thanks.
