Help with Covid

I tested positive for Covid on Thursday after experiencing symptoms since Friday 20th and initially testing negative on the Monday before. Luckily I'd been isolating since the 20th anyway because I'd been pinged.

I'm exhausted, my chest feels sore and under stress like I've run a 5K and it's very much all in my FACE. Any words of reassurance? I can come out of isolation on Weds but, so far, I can't imagine leaving the house.

Anyone else feeling similarly?

I tested positive on the 22nd and have had a week of feeling truly awful.. however after sleeping well last night and all morning I do feel like I’ve turned a corner today. Although the symptoms seem to come and go. I feel really achy with muscle pain and a mild cough. Had lost my sense of smell but it’s starting to come back today. I know what you mean about feeling it in the face too, kind of behind my face almost like I’ve been possessed by something (well, a virus I guess!). That feeling has eased off today too. I still feel exhausted and not sure how quickly I’ll be able to get back to any normal activities but getting better. Good luck!

If you still feel feverish or have a high temperature you should still isolate.

I have the same dates as you. I felt much better today though and the sneezing finally stopped which was exhausting me. My eyes were burning and I couldn't concentrate on anything and oddly my hearing was really affected. I was also grumpy as hell with my family.

I hope you feel a bit better in the morning. Have you been drinking lots? I've been on around 8 pints of water a day plus vitD and vitC which has hopefully helped.

Smell and taste still gone though. DC has developed a really high temperature tonight though so it looks like I'm here for a while.

The second week is often worse than the first (this esp seems true if you are not vaccinated). But by day 14 you should be on the mend.

Flowers even a mild case of this virus can make you feel so, so rough.
