How long did your symptoms last?

I have Covid at the moment, I’m double vaccinated and to be honest it feels like a heavy cold. I have a cough and a snotty nose. I’m ok to be up and about around the house. I am eating and sleeping fine.

Symptoms began 3 days ago (I was already isolating as my 5 year old tested positive last week) but I was wondering how long the symptoms are likely to last?

I’m supposed to be back at work next week (WFH but lots of zoom presentations) and I wanted to know if I’m going to be up to it. Obviously I’ll still be isolating but I am hoping I’ll feel better by then?

If you were vaccinated and had mild symptoms for the first few days how did it pan out?

I'm on day 7 and its hit me like a ton of bricks again today, the headache is back and I feel so wiped out ive only had one vaccine 2nd was due yesterday and obviously ive had to cancel it.

I got it a month ago. Exhausted and achy with a continuous cough that hurt my muscles.
I rested, slept and rested again. Couldn’t do anything else. Am just starting to feel ok again.
My advice would be to rest as much as poss for a quicker recovery.

I'm on day 7 of symptoms , I worked (from home) from day 5. First three days I was feeling quite poorly, day 4 I pottered around a bit. Day 5 I worked but probably wasn't as productive as normal.

I'm single vaxxed, on Day 8 or 9 of Covid and had cold symptoms. I feel absolutely fine now apart from a bit of lingering phlegm and still can't smell or taste anything.

thanks - Did most of you find that you felt ill straight away - or did things get worse after a certain number of days?

I tested positive last Saturday, likely caught Covid on the Thursday or Friday. I had no symptoms until Monday, felt worst on Tuesday night and then slowly started feeling better.

Double jabbed (nearly 5 weeks post second one). Bit off on geh Monday. Very visible line Monday. Stronger line Tues. Had naps on the Wednesday.. Soldiered on Thurs!! Felt rubbish til the weekend then fine...

Double jabbed day 4 since test although in hindsight I had a very mild scratchy throat two days prior. Don’t feel that bad so far and am worried about counting my chickens. If I didn’t have to isolate I probably wouldn’t have phoned in sick at work for this. Fingers xd this is all.

Bubbublish · 22/08/2021 00:27

Double jabbed, symptoms started with a mild cold, loss of taste and smell then a few days later, headaches, achy all over, high temperature, vomiting then another few days later could barely get off the sofa and ended up in hospital for 10 nights.

Covid attacked my lungs which turned into pneumonia. Symptoms now are breathing difficulties, I can only smell something that smells bad all the time but taste has come back a bit, tiredness and occasionally feeling sick.

Wishing everyone well

Goodness @Bubbublish that sounds rough. I hope you get over it soon.
