How long for pcr test results?

both dd and i went to walk in yesterday at 5 o'clock. We're in central belt Scotland.

My dd did one yesterday lunchtime, we just got the result (negative).

DD had one yesterday afternoon and git the results about 7am this morning.

so hopefully pretty soon then

I did a postal PCR last Monday and still not had any result 5 days later - on the plus side I do feel a lot better now

ended up getting them at 1ish so pretty quickly

24 hours for both my kids and they was positive 26 hours for me and mine was negative
