Covid/Haircut/Wedding

First world problem - I’m getting married next week & have been, on the whole, keeping ourselves to ourselves for the last couple weeks. Outdoor activities only (we have kids, so we’ve gone to parks) & the kids have been playing with the neighbours. All to limit our chances of getting covid before the big day (I’m not remotely concerned about covid itself, it’s purely just the idea of cancelling my wedding 😭)

I have my pre-wedding hair cut/dye today & I don’t know whether to go! I’ve had my hair cut plenty of times through the pandemic (when allowed obvs) & never got covid. But I feel like it’s a high risk catch zone?! I could re-book for the day before.. but then I’m worried I’m risking the hairdresser messing up my hair & not having time to fix it 🙈🙈

What do I do 😩😅

Is your hairdresser testing regularly? Mine is as she goes into a couple of care homes as well as the salon.

I would go the day before if it’s a hairdresser you have used before and trust that they will get your colour right. Chances are you won’t get covid but to get this close to your wedding then have to cancel feels like too much of a risk to me. I’m in the same mindset of you I’m not worried about catching it from a health perspective but have lots of important events coming up that I don’t want to cancel or miss!
