Covid pass- how do I make it work

I am not a fan of this whole passport thing but I want to go to an event that will require a covid pass so downloaded the app. I’ve now had my identity verified but it’s not linking up to my medical records. What do I need to do? It could be because I sent the form to my GP practice opting out of them selling my data to 3rd parties??

Possibly. Have you tried to get an nhs covid pass by letter. Goggle that in and put in your details and see if it accepts your details and says it will send you one. You have to wait about a week after having second vaccine, my son cannot get his on the app as he had his second only 9 days ago, but has got the paper one.

Have you got the actual NHS app, not that stupid test and trace ping thing?

Yes it’s the NHS app I’ve downloaded not the covid one. I haven’t had both vaccines but I have had a positive PCR within the past 180 days so I can get the pass on that basis, only none of my records are connected to the app

Anyone who has made it work- did you have to do something to link the app to your medical records or did it just work once the verification process had gone through?
