I'm probably being thick but please help I'm driving myself mad!

Form asks:

UK arrival travel details for all passengers

These details must match those on your UK GOV passenger locator form

1.date on which you will depart from or transit through a country or territory in or outside the common travel area

DD/MM/YYYY

2.Date of arrival in the UK

DD/MM/YYYY

Is the first question asking when we are leaving the UK to go on holiday (Spain) or the date we're leaving Spain to come back to the UK which would mean the same date for both of the questions. I really don't want to get this wrong and I'm worried if I put the later date my tests won't arrive in time, if I put the earlier date they will somehow void my test!? Arghhh

Hey,

I'm having the same problem, I'm so confused😂 did you find out what date you put in there??

Thank you

MolyHolyGuacamole · 29/08/2021 10:05

I'd take it to mean the day you leave Spain, as the next one is your arrival in the uk. It covers someone who might leave Spain but travel elsewhere before coming back to the UK.

bifjufd · 29/08/2021 10:07

Hey yes it's exactly as @MolyHolyGuacamole said, we're here now and it's amazing! Well worth it and the weather is beautiful!

bifjufd · 29/08/2021 10:08

Ooops sorry im the OP I've just name changed since

CommanderBurnham · 29/08/2021 10:29

If you leave Spain and arrive in England, put the same dates.

We left Spain at 11pm and arrived in England at 3am, so we had to put different dates. It's for overnight flights.

TiredButDancing · 29/08/2021 10:31

Yes, as @CommanderBurnham says - departure date and arrival could be different. And if you're travelling from somewhere far away, you might also have time in transit and time zones etc so it could be even more than a day's difference between departure and arrival.

The forms are so complicated though. I abandoned one testing service because I simply could not work out how to fill out their form.
